Fertrell offers many wonderful services, from soil and forage testing to management help and trouble shooting. But did you know that consultants in both the Agronomy and Animal Nutrition departments have taken, participated in, and passed IOIA Organic Inspector Training?

How does this help you? Fertrell has been a pioneer in organic agriculture for many years.  By obtaining these certifications, the consultants can better assist and guide farmers, producers, homesteaders, and gardeners on how to do things “organically”. 

For those of you who are already certified organic, we better understand the inspection process and what you need from us. Plus, we now know what the inspectors look for when going over your materials list and your OSP.  If you are thinking about becoming certified organic, we can help you navigate the NOP and if you want to pursue it further. And if you want to practice some organic standards and not be certified, we can help determine what works best for your operation.

We strive to give you, our customers, the best service we possibly can.  Through these trainings, we can elevate what we offer and stay knowledgeable on topics that are of interest and importance to our community.
